British rider Sheila Baigent passes away

Thursday, December 6th , Sheila Baigent passed away at the age of 68 after a long illness. Sheila Baigent was known as one of the first women in 1961 to ride in the derby of Hickstead. She finished fourth.

Another important victory won by them at age fourteen with her pony Baccarat title jumping rider of the year with the youth on the 'Horse of the Year Show' to win. In addition, she was European champion in 1961, jumping to the youth.

After her career in the sport she decided to become a show jumping jump until last September.
